About Support Mission K9 Rescue - Saving Working Dogs

November 1st, 2024

Holiday Fundraising Drive Begins
Please Donate Today!

This is Kirsten and retired MWD Sofi, USAF, Ret.
Kirsten was Sofi's last handler, and Kirsten is serving in Korea.

Sofi's actual name is MWD Sofi C147, USAF, Ret.
Mission K9 picked up Sofi in Sacramento, CA, drove her to our facility in Texas while making arrangements to get her to Kirsten in Korea.  Mission K9 will be escorted Sofi and one other MWD to Korea, where they reunited them with their handlers.  In addition, Mission K9 picked up a MWD in Korea and escorted her to her handler in Washington, DC.

We planned this trip as inexpensively as possible, but it cost over $15,000.
We are short $10,000 in reunion funding - Please help so we can have more!

Escorting them was the most cost effective way
.

This is MWD Jaap A329, USAF, Ret.   Mission K9 is reuniting Jaap with his handler Ailey, who is serving in Korea.

MissionK9 picked Jaap up from Sacramento, California and drove him to our facility in Texas while we made the arrangements to get Jaap to Ailey in Korea. Their reunion was heartwarming!

The same story from Sofi applies here for Jaap.

Mission K9 will also picked up MWD Renni in Korea and escorted

her to Washington, DC where she was reunited with her handler Jesse.

If you can, please consider making a donation today.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us continue our life-saving work
and honor the sacrifices these dogs have made in their service.

Veterinary Care Cost Drive

We Healed Our Hero Dogs - Please help us cover their cost of care.
We always have a balance due in excess of $10,000 to cover the cost
of the medical needs of our Retired Working Dogs.
Your donations help provide the care they need, along with regular
Senior Wellness Checkups, Vaccines, and more!

August 16th, 2024 - Help MK9 Continue The Care For Rescued Afghanistan Contract Working Dogs!

We picked up the dogs in Washington, D.C and transported them to our Veteran K9 Ranch in Texas.
With 52 dogs in our care, we need your support and donations to keep running strong!

Please - help us maintain these dogs without struggling to raise funds.

93% of every dollar goes to our work - no waste! You can make the difference!

Mission K9 Rescue is a United States Nonprofit Organization based in Houston, Texas.

We've rescued and reunited working dogs with their handlers from all over the world for over 10 years.

We've saved over 1300 working dogs and given them the retirement they deserve after a lifetime of service to humankind.

675 dogs from that total have been reunited with their former handlers!

Over $2,000,000 has been spent on veterinary care!

With your help, we continue our work and touch the lives of even more hero dogs!

Your funds are used for rescuing Military and Contract Working Dogs, Reuniting Veteran Working Dogs with Handlers, Transportation, Medical Care, and Boarding.

You can search for us on Google or YouTube to see many of the heart tugging reunions between these Hero Dogs and their Military Handlers.

Jake and Iskra - Reunited!

Since January 2024, 46 more Military Working Dogs have been reunited with their Handlers.
i

We have spent over $90,000 for Vet care so far in 2024.

We need to provide normal care for the 35 dogs in our facility.

We need to fund our normal operations costs for the 4nd quarter of 2024.
